About This Activity

The students of Grade X of Rajhans Vidyalaya embarked on an enriching educational trip to Igatpuri on the 8th and 9th of October 2025. The objective of this two-day excursion was to extend learning beyond the classroom, encourage teamwork, and create opportunities for experiential learning in a joyful and interactive environment.

The group assembled at the school campus at 6:00 a.m., following all safety and reporting protocols. Students were seated in their respective classrooms for attendance and final instructions before departure. They travelled by AC luxury coaches, accompanied by class teachers and POCSO-certified facilitators from Indian Odyssey, ensuring comfort, safety, and supervision throughout the journey.

The trip began with packed breakfast and refreshments en route, followed by a short stop at McDonald’s for a quick bite. The first major stop was the Museum of Money & History (Nashik Coin Museum), where students explored India’s numismatic heritage and learned about the evolution of currency and trade systems. The visit proved to be both informative and engaging, sparking curiosity among the students.

Upon reaching Igatpuri, the group checked into a star-category resort and enjoyed a wholesome lunch. The afternoon was dedicated to games and recreational activities such as cricket on the turf, swimming, badminton, carrom, and swings. These activities fostered teamwork, cooperation, and sportsmanship while allowing students to relax and enjoy themselves in a beautiful natural setting.

As evening set in, students freshened up and participated in a Farewell Celebration, filled with music, dance, and cheerful performances that created lasting memories. A delicious dinner followed, and students retired for the night after a lively and fulfilling day.

The next morning began with a wake-up call and a buffet breakfast, after which students spent some leisure time exploring the resort’s amenities. Following lunch, they prepared to return, enjoying snacks during the journey. The group arrived back at school by early evening, where parents warmly received their wards.

Throughout the trip, the students maintained discipline and followed all school instructions. Dressed in house T-shirts and jeans, carrying their school ID cards, and — as always — lots of smiles, they represented the school with pride and enthusiasm.

The trip was a resounding success. It strengthened friendships, offered new learning experiences, and gave students a sense of independence and responsibility. The combination of education, exploration, and enjoyment made this journey a memorable milestone in their school life.
