About This Activity

Rajhans Vidyalaya organised an educational field trip for the students of Grade XI to Keshav Shrushti on 9th December 2025 with the objective of providing experiential learning related to biology, environment, sustainability, and traditional practices.
The buses departed from the school premises at 8:20 a.m., and the group reached Keshav Shrushti at 10:00 a.m. Upon arrival, the students were welcomed and given initial instructions by Ms. Sarita Acharekar, one of the resource persons at Keshav Shrushti. Breakfast was served at 10:10 a.m. At 10:35 a.m., an informative orientation session was conducted by Ms. Sarita Acharekar, during which students were introduced to the objectives, activities, and philosophy of Keshav Shrushti. This was followed by an agarbatti-making workshop, conducted by Ms. Sarita Acharekar and Mr. Ashok Basara, where students actively participated and learned the traditional method of agarbatti production.The students were then taken on an interactive guided tour, during which they were shown various medicinal plants and bio-subject-related plants. Detailed explanations regarding their uses, importance, and cultivation methods were provided. The tour also included demonstrations of fishes, different varieties of spiders, gaushala, biogas plant, rainwater harvesting system, solar panels, fruit and vegetable gardens, along with an explanation of sustainable farming and eco-friendly practices adopted at Keshav Shrushti.
