As a part of community school partnership, we at Rajhans have taken up a
number of altruistic initiatives, we engaged our students in the following
activities to inculcate the values of social responsibility and community service.

1) Raw Grains and Pulses Collection Drive- July 18, 2024- The Interact Club of
Rajhans Vidyalaya organized a 'Raw Grains and Pulses Collection Drive,' engaging
students from Std. I to Std. XII. This altruistic initiative aimed to gather essential
food supplies for Nayi Disha, an old age home situated in Virar. On July 18, 2024,
the collected items were carefully packed and handed over to Nayi Disha,
marking the successful conclusion of this benevolent mission.
The collection drive culminated on the day of the Installation of the Interact Club
of Rajhans Vidyalaya and HMPS 2024. The event was conducted under the aegis
of Academic Advisor- Mrs. Deepshikha Srivastava, Principal of Rajhans Vidyalaya
-Mrs. Ritu Dubey, Principal of HMPS School -Mr. S. Govindrajan, Vice Principal -
Ms. Usha Unnikrishnan, and Rotarian Varsha, a trustee of Nayi Disha.
The drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who diligently
collected and donated various grains and pulses. This event highlighted the
profound impact of community service on both the beneficiaries and the
participants.

2) A fun filled day for sunshine kids:
We organised sports for Underprivileged - A unique opportunity to spread
warmth and love to the lesser privileged in our society.
The school had arranged buses for the pickup and drop of these children from
Mobile Creches whose parents work in the construction sites across Mumbai. A
fun-filled entertaining day was planned for them. On arrival children were then
involved in enriching and entertaining activities like Wall climbing, various games
on the basketball court, a diya painting session followed by dancing session. The
fulfilled day was followed by lunch comprising of Misal pav, gulab jamun, orange,
cake, biscuit and a lollipop.
The children were then taken to the theatre hall to watch Chandrayan 3 and a
humorous compilation of various cartoons. A goodie bag comprising of items
necessary for these children was donated by the students of the HMPS campus.

The fulfilled event was a success because of the initiative taken by the institute
to continue walking on the philanthropic steps of our donors by bringing a smile
on the faces of these children.

3) Diet & Nutrition: To prepare and promote healthy eating habits among
participants through preparing nutritious salads and drinks. Participants
prepared a number of nutritious salads and healthy juices. The aim was to
promote healthy eating habits and fostered a sense of community through
shared food experience.
4) Gratitude card and postcards were written by our students to our peons and
mess peons to acknowledge their important role in maintaining the school's
daily operations and to make them feel valued.
