Christmas Celebrations- Grade V & VIII- 23 December 2025

Rajhans Vidyalaya celebrated Christmas on 23rd December 2025 with joy, warmth, and enthusiastic participation from students of Std. V to VIII. The celebration beautifully blended values, reflection, music, role play, and engaging activities, reinforcing the true spirit of Christmas that is kindness, sharing, discipline, and hope.

The day began with a special Christmas morning assembly at 7:45 a.m. The host welcomed everyone and spoke about the significance of Christmas, highlighting kindness, joy, and hope. The symbolic bright star was used to set a reflective tone, reminding students of light and goodness in everyday life.

This was followed by a meaningful role play titled “The Night of the Bright Star”, presented by students as shepherds and wise men. Through simple yet impactful dialogues, the role play conveyed messages of hope in ordinary moments, kindness that guides humanity, and peace and goodwill for all. The presentation concluded with a collective message encouraging everyone to shine like the bright star in their daily lives.

The school choir added festive cheer by singing Feliz Navidad, Jingle Bells, and We Wish You a Merry Christmas. The melodious performance created a joyful atmosphere and was warmly appreciated by all. A thoughtful Thought for the Day and a self-affirmation further reinforced positive values, with students pledging to be caring, helpful, joyful, and kind.

Std. VII and VIII - After the assembly, students participated in a range of engaging activities. Classroom and outdoor activities further added to the celebration. Christmas-themed tongue twisters for Std. V to VIII helped build confidence, clarity, and articulation in a friendly competitive spirit. Std. VII and VIII students participated in the Snowball Toss Challenge and The Gift Zone on the basketball court, which encouraged teamwork, alertness, and discipline.

After snacks Std. VII and VIII worked on Goal Setting & Resolutions worksheets with the theme Dream • Decide • Do. This worksheet encouraged students to think about personal goals and positive change.

Std. V and VI - After the assembly, worksheet activity was conducted to promote reflection and self-growth. Std. V and VI completed My Goals & Promises worksheets based on the theme Try • Learn • Improve.

After snacks, Std. V students enjoyed the energetic Reindeer Race in the Gurukul Area, promoting physical fitness, discipline, and sportsmanship. Std. V students also participated in the Joy–Peace–Kindness Clap Activity, ending with a cheerful greeting for Christmas and the New Year.

Std. VI students took part in Passing the Ball, where meaningful prompts for punishment related to healthy habits, good behaviour, and responsibility made the activity both fun and value-based. 

Overall, the Christmas celebration at Rajhans Vidyalaya was well-organised, meaningful, and joyful. It successfully combined festive cheer with value education and student participation, leaving students inspired to carry forward the spirit of kindness, discipline, and positivity beyond the celebration.
