Rajhans Vidyalaya's school exhibition on Saturday, April 29, 2023 was an inspiring event focused on the theme of "Save Planet Earth, Move towards Sustainability." Recognizing that humans are an integral part of nature, the exhibition aimed to foster holistic development among students by encouraging exploration, creativity, and out-of-the-box thinking.
On that bright Saturday morning, the school premises buzzed with anticipation. Mrs. Veena Shetty, a retired science teacher of Rajhans Vidyalaya, graced the occasion as the honourable chief guest. The program commenced with the symbolic lighting of the lamp by Mrs. Shetty, joined by Principal Mrs. Kala Gangadharan, Vice Principal Mrs. Usha Unni, school coordinators, and the supervisor.
Excitement filled the air as the visitors went through the exhibits, marvelling at the students' painstakingly crafted and passionately created exhibits. Each model and chart depicted various aspects of sustainability, offering insights into the natural cycles of matter and the Earth's remarkable capacity for self-renewal. The conservation of forests and wildlife came alive through a captivating skit performed by the talented Std. V students. Divergent concepts and consequences of rural and urban eco-friendly lifestyles were explored, highlighting the importance of sustainable development
The Director-Major General Deepak Saxena, Academic Advisor- Mrs. Deepshikha Srivastava, Assistant Administration Officer - Sub. Major Mahukar Khot and Bai Kabibai Balvatika Principal Ms. Babita Chavan also graced the exhibition and visited all the exhibits.
Visitors delved into the intricate world of ecosystems, discovering the unique environmental locations specific to Maharashtra. The exhibition shed light on the responsible use and conservation of natural resources, showcasing the vital role of agroforestry and assisted migration. Biodiversity and climate change took centre stage, emphasizing the pressing need for future sustainability. The fusion of technology and agriculture was beautifully exemplified through the 'AGRO BOT' model, demonstrating how artificial intelligence revolutionizes the field. In an effort to raise public awareness, the students also engaged visitors, encouraging them to sign petitions in support of environmental causes.
Ultimately, the exhibition conveyed a powerful message: sustainable living is crucial for mitigating climate change and securing a healthier planet for future generations. The students' sincere and voluntary acceptance of sustainability measures inspired everyone in attendance. The innovative and ingenious efforts of the students received widespread appreciation, highlighting the limitless potential of Rajhans students. Today's success reaffirmed the belief that there are no boundaries too vast, no dreams too grand, and no innovations beyond the reach of these bright minds.
