RETROSPACE ART FEST - 26 April 2024
Rajhans Vidyalaya, hosted an exhilarating event, annual ART FEST 2024-25: RETROSPACE – TIME TRAVEL THROUGH ART on April 26, 2024. The event commenced at 5:00 PM and lasted through the evening, showcasing the creative prowess of the school's budding artists and engaging art enthusiasts in a journey through time via art.
The event boasted an impressive line-up of esteemed guests, adding flair and prestige to the occasion. Mr. Suuraj Singh, a key member of the leadership team at ICICI Bank and a fervent Art Promoter, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Accompanying him was Mr. Surendra Masram, Assistant Art Director at the Ministry of Textiles, representing the Government of India, as the Guest of Honour. Additionally, the event welcomed Sunidhi Khare, Miss India International RU 2022 and a graduate from NIFT, and Ms. Madhura Naik, a renowned actress and alumni of Rajhans Vidyalaya, as Special Guests. The presence of these luminaries added an aura of distinction to the event. Notably, Mr. Rahul Kamble, an accomplished artist, enthralled the audience with a captivating portrait demonstration, further enriching the artistic experience.
The lighting of the lamp was performed by Academic Advisor Mrs. Deepshikha Srivastava and Principal Mrs. Kala Gangadharan along with the guests. Director-Major General Deepak Saxena, Assistant Administration Officer Sub. Major Mahukar Khot Sena Medal, HR Manager & Bursar Major Abhishek Singh, along with Mr. S Govindharajan, Principal of HMPS, honored the occasion with their presence.
The heart of the event lay in the splendid showcase of students' artwork, spanning various forms of creative expression. From collage making to flower making, mask decoration, dish painting, windmill making, canvas painting, fort making, and model making, the exhibition was a testament to the talent and ingenuity of the students. Each artwork spoke volumes about the dedication and artistic flair nurtured at Rajhans Vidyalaya.
In keeping with the event's theme of RETROSPACE, traditional games added an extra layer of nostalgia and fun for attendees. Students enthusiastically participated in classic games like snakes and ladders, hopscotch, and more, infusing the event with a sense of camaraderie and joy.
