Annual Science Exhibition 21st September, 2024
The Annual Science Exhibition at Rajhans Vidyalaya took place on 21st September, 2024. This year’s theme was “Healing Hands:Celebrating the Science of Health and Medicine,” The event aimed to foster scientific curiosity and innovation among students, encouraging them to explore various aspects of human health and medical advancements. The exhibition featured a wide array of projects and models, each meticulously prepared by students from different grades. The projects were categorized into several sections, including:
- Dadi Maa Ke Nuske - Medicinal Plants, Spices, and Their Benefits, Herbal Oils, and Juices for Primary section.
- Health & Medicine – Health & Hygiene, Explore the Amazing World of Nutrition, Impact of Vaccination on Human Health, Medical & Surgical Innovations from Ancient to Modern, Health Tourism in India for Secondary Section
- Health & Medicine - Development of Medicine & Drugs, Gene Therapy & Immunization, Medical Technology & Future of Medicine, Market Segmentation of Pharmaceutical Industry, Behavioral Economics, Policies & Regulations Health Care, for Senior Secondary Section.
The exhibition was honored by the presence of esteemed dignitaries like the School Trustee Mr. Dilip Udeshi; Major General Mr. Deepak Saxena - Director; Mrs. Deepshikha Srivastava - Academic Advisor; Sub. Major Mahukar Khot Sena Medal - Asst Administration Officer, Major Abhishek Singh - HR Manager & Bursar; Mrs. Ritu Dubey – RV Principal, Mrs. Usha Unnikrishnan – RV Vice Principal, Mrs. Nisha Menon – HMPS ICSE Principal; Mr. Govindrajan – HMPS Principal, Mrs. Babita – Baikabibai Principal, School co-ordinators and Supervisors. Additionally, our distinguished ex-students, now accomplished doctors, graced the event: Dr. Shruti Prabhu-Bandhare, a leading Physiotherapist; Dr. Raghavendra B. Pandit, MBBS, MD, MCh - Endocrinologist; and Dr. Varun Dave, a renowned ENT specialist. Their participation as chief guests added immense value to the occasion, inspiring both students and teachers alike.
The Primary section science exhibition featured a variety of engaging activities, including role plays, poem recitations, riddles, and project work on spices, herbal oils, and juices. These activities were designed to educate students on the historical significance and benefits of herbal remedies used by our grandmothers. The primary objective of the exhibition was to instil an appreciation for traditional remedies among students and to ensure that these valuable practices are preserved for future generations. The enthusiasm and creativity displayed by the primary students were truly commendable, making the event a memorable learning experience for all.
Secondary & Senior Secondary students actively participated in the exhibition, explaining their projects with enthusiasm and confidence. Their presentations were well-researched and demonstrated a deep understanding of the subject matter. The exhibition was a comprehensive display of knowledge and creativity, showcasing their scientific understanding and innovative thinking with each class contributing valuable insights into health and medicine. The chief guests were particularly impressed by the innovative approaches and practical applications of the projects.
The science exhibition was a resounding success, providing a platform for students to showcase their talents and learn about the latest developments in human health and medicine. It not only enhanced their knowledge but also inspired them to pursue careers in the medical and scientific fields.
