DANDIYA NITE AT BKMCT ANDHERI CAMPUS- 26 OCTOBER 2024
On October 26, 2024, the Andheri Campus of BKMCT hosted a vibrant Dandiya Nite, attended by students, parents, alumni, and teachers who enthusiastically joined the festive celebration.
The event was graced by prominent dignitaries, including Mrs. Deepshikha Srivastava, Academic Advisor at BKMCT; Mrs. Ritu Dubey, Principal of Rajhans Vidyalaya; Mrs. Nisha Menon, ICSE Headmistress of HMPS; Mr. Govindarajan, Principal of HMPS; along with distinguished educator Mrs. Babita Chauhan, Principal of Baikabibai. Their presence underscored the event’s significance and fostered a strong sense of community and togetherness.
The event, held from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., aimed to bring joy to the season. Participants, dressed in colorful traditional attire, immersed themselves in the spirit of Navratri with energy and enthusiasm. Food and shopping stalls lined the venue, offering a delightful array of options for guests to enjoy, keeping everyone replenished for an evening of dance, music, and fun.
A panel of eminent judges, including Nidhi Gupta, Radhika Joshi, Raj Parekh, Tanay R., and Atmaja Unny, assessed participants on their dancing skills, costumes, and enthusiasm, adding a competitive edge to the event.
Prizes were awarded for ‘Best Dancer’ (male and female) and ‘Best Dressed’ (male and female) across different age groups, with special prize categories for parents and teachers to foster enthusiastic participation from all groups. Additionally, 10 lucky draws heightened the excitement.
The dance floor buzzed with energy as students, parents, and teachers showcased their moves to traditional Dandiya music. The fusion of vibrant attire and joyous dance brought a dynamic, festive ambiance to the evening.
