The Parent Orientation Program for Std XI for the academic year 2025-26 was held on 1st April 2025 at Barrack 49 Hall of Rajhans Vidyalaya. The session aimed to familiarize parents with the school's academic structure, expectations, policies, and student support services.

The orientation was led by Principal Ritu Dubey and Coordinators Shaila Prabhu and Geetha Murudi, along with the senior secondary teaching faculty. The event covered key aspects such as attendance policies, school timings, assessment structures, subject combinations, co-curricular activities, and communication protocols. Parents were also informed about the school's disciplinary guidelines, uniform rules, and counseling services available for students.

Key Points Covered in the Session

  1. Academic Structure & Subject Combinations
    • Parents were briefed on CBSE subject choices, elective options, and streams available for students.
    • Importance of continuous assessment, internal evaluations, and board exam preparation was emphasized.
  2. School Timings & Attendance Policies
    • The school operates from 7:20 am to 1:50 pm.
    • Regular attendance is compulsory, and unauthorized absence beyond a month may lead to withdrawal.
  3. Discipline & Student Expectations
    • Strict adherence to the school’s discipline code was emphasized.
    • Students must communicate in English within the school premises.
    • Use of mobile phones is prohibited during school hours.
  4. Uniform & Grooming Guidelines
    • Students must wear a properly maintained uniform with polished shoes and white socks.
    • The revised sports uniform includes a house T-shirt and black track pants.
  5. Communication Between School & Parents
    • The MICM app will serve as the primary communication platform (WhatsApp groups will not be used).
    • Parents can also communicate through school emails or notes in the school calendar.
  6. Counseling & Student Support
    • The school provides counseling services to help students manage academic pressure and personal challenges.
  7. Library & Resources
    • Students can borrow books for 8-15 days, and previous years' question papers are available in the library.
    • Parents are encouraged to donate books for the school library.
  8. Extracurricular Activities & Sports
    • Various sports and inter-house competitions will be conducted, including Basketball, Football, Chess, Badminton, and more.
    • Students will participate in co-curricular activities such as Work Education, General Studies, and Art Integration.
  9. Examinations & Remedial Classes
    • The academic year is divided into two Unit Tests, Terminal Exam, Final Exam with Internal assessments.
    • Remedial classes will be held from 1:50 pm to 2:30 pm, and online classes on the first Saturday of every month from 8:00 am – 11:45 am.
  10. Parent Involvement & Feedback
    • Parents were encouraged to take an active role in their child’s academic progress.
    • At the end of the session, parents filled out a feedback form to share their thoughts and suggestions.

The session emphasized the importance of student accountability, academic integrity, and active parental involvement in their child’s educational journey. Additionally, parents were introduced to the MICM app, which will serve as the primary medium for communication between the school and parents.
