The Senior Secondary Section of Rajhans Vidyalaya organized an interactive orientation programme titled Parichay”  on Monday, 22 December 2025, for Grade X students. The programme aimed to familiarize students with Grade XI subjects through engaging, activity-based learning experiences and to help them make informed academic choices for their future.

As part of the programme, the Commerce stream, comprising Accountancy, Business Studies, and Entrepreneurship, was conducted at Gurukul under the guidance of the teachers-in-charge, Ms. Greeshma Shetty and Ms. Shivani Dalvi. Students actively participated in activities such as Decision Cards, where they analysed business-related decisions, and Inside a Business, a role-play activity based on real-life business scenarios. These activities enabled students to understand core concepts and appreciate the interconnection among the commerce subjects.

The Humanities stream session, which included Economics, Sociology, and Political Science, was held in the Art Room and conducted by Mr. Mohd. Yusuf Hasan and Ms. Rahila Shaikh. Through interactive activities like the Life Choices Game and Snack Attack, students explored themes such as economic inequality, social influence, government policies, and price changes. The activities encouraged empathetic thinking and helped students relate theoretical concepts to real-life situations.

The session on Engineering Graphics and Psychology took place in the Atal Lab and was conducted by Ms. Deepali Nagrale and Ms. Nayana D’Cunha. This session combined creative skits with hands-on activities to introduce students to concepts of intelligence, personality, self-awareness, and spatial visualization. Activities such as object visualization, surface development, and line-making helped students understand the connection between concentration, design, and precision.

Overall, the Parichay Programme successfully generated awareness about the various Grade XI subjects, highlighted the importance of interdisciplinary learning, and guided students towards making well-informed academic decisions. The active participation and enthusiasm shown by the students reflected the effectiveness and success of the programme.
