About This Activity
The ‘Hello Around the World’ activity was conducted from 21 to 23 April 2026 for Std. VII as a follow-up to the lesson ‘Say the Right Thing.’ The activity aimed to introduce students to greetings used in different countries and to enhance their awareness of global cultures.

After viewing the video, students were instructed to write six different ways of saying “hello” along with the names of the respective countries in their notebooks. This task encouraged attentive listening, note-making, and reinforcement of learning.
Students participated actively and showed great interest in learning greetings from around the world. Their notebook work reflected neat presentation and a good understanding of the concept.
Overall, the activity was informative and enjoyable. It helped broaden students’ cultural knowledge while improving their listening and writing skills.
