About This Activity

As part of the Eco Club activity on Healthy Lifestyle & Sustainable Food Systems (Millet Salad) held on 24 June 2026, students prepared and presented Millet Salads at home under parental supervision. The activity aimed to create awareness about healthy eating habits and sustainable food systems. Students demonstrated the Farm to Plate concept and explained two health benefits of millets or other ingredients used in their salads, highlighting their nutritional importance. They also focused on promoting healthy lifestyles and sustainability through their presentations. The salads were attractively garnished and presented during regular school hours, reflecting the students’ creativity, participation, and enthusiasm.
