About This Activity

Rajhans Vidyalaya (Primary Section) organised a No Bag Day along with the Primary Council Election Day for the students of the Primary Section. The day was thoughtfully planned to provide children with a joyful, experiential learning experience while encouraging them to understand the values of democracy and responsible citizenship.

The day began with the Primary Council election process. Students enthusiastically participated by casting their votes for three categories: Junior School Captain, Junior Sports Captain, and Junior Art & Culture Captain. The Junior Prefectorial Council elections were well organised in a child-friendly voting setup. Teachers explained the importance of elections, fair voting, leadership, and the responsibilities of elected representatives. The activity helped students understand the democratic process in a practical and engaging manner.

As part of the No Bag Day, students came to school without their school bags and participated in a variety of fun-filled art and craft activities.

The event successfully combined learning with fun, making education meaningful beyond textbooks. It also instilled confidence, leadership qualities, decision-making skills, and respect for democratic values among students.

The day concluded with great enthusiasm and a sense of accomplishment. The Junior Prefectorial Council Election and No Bag Day transformed the school into a vibrant learning space, where teachers also cast their votes for students representing the Houses allotted to them. The students not only enjoyed a refreshing break from their regular classroom routine but also gained valuable insights into the principles of democracy, leadership, and responsible citizenship. The day reinforced the school's commitment to nurturing confident, compassionate, and socially responsible learners through meaningful and engaging experiences.
