RAAGA RHYTHMS: A MUSICAL TREAT – 9 TH JULY, 2025

On 9th July 2025, the Theatre Hall of Rajhans Vidyalaya echoed with the soulful melodies of Indian classical music during the "Raaga Rhythms" performance. The event featured Hrishikesh Majumdar on the flute, whose melodious tunes mesmerized the audience. He was accompanied by Ravi Venugopalan on the tabla, and Mukundraj Kadam on the pakhawaj, both of whom added depth and rhythm to the performance.

Students of Grade 5 and 6 attended the programme with great enthusiasm. They participated with great enthusiasm and answered the questions asked with full confidence. The performance introduced them to the richness of Indian classical instruments and rhythms, creating a deeper appreciation for our musical heritage. The artists also interacted briefly with the students, explaining the significance of the instruments and the concept of "raaga."

It was a truly enriching and enjoyable experience that left the young audience inspired and curious to explore Indian music further.
