Report on Orientation Program for TED-Ed Student Talks - 23 September 2025
An orientation program was conducted for the parents of students selected for the final round of TED-Ed Student Talks 2025 in the Art Room at 7:30 a.m.The session commenced with a warm welcome and an insightful overview by Ms. Ritu Dubey, Principal, Rajhans Vidyalaya, who highlighted the vision and
significance of TED-Ed Student Talks in nurturing communication skills, creativity, and confidence in students.
This was followed by a detailed presentation by Ms. Amrita Dayal, who walked the parents through the TED-Ed Roadmap—from structuring and writing a talk to practicing, refining, and delivering it on stage. The roadmap provided clarity on how students are guided step by step to craft impactful talks and present
them effectively.
Parents actively participated in the session by asking questions regarding the process, rehearsals, and event- day preparations. Their queries were addressed comprehensively, ensuring confidence in the program’s structure and support system. Towards the end, a few parents and a student from Std. XII shared their experiences of the journey so far.
They spoke about the transformative impact of TED-Ed activities in helping students gain confidence, develop critical thinking, and express their ideas with clarity and passion.
The program concluded on a note of encouragement and pride, with parents appreciating the initiative and extending their wholehearted support to the students as they prepare for the final event.
