Sports Day Celebrations at Rajhans Vidyalaya Day 3 – 24th July 2024 – Shiksha Saptah
Shiksha Saptah was celebrated at Rajhans Vidyalaya with great enthusiasm for Std 5th
to 10th. The third day of the week-long celebration was dedicated to sports.
Under Sports, the students participated in traditional Indian games such as Rassee Koodana,
Langdi, Lagoori, Maaram Pitti, Cheel Jhapatta, and Rathera.
● Rassee Koodna: Students showcased their agility and coordination in this rope-jumping
game.
● Langdi: This one-legged hopping game emphasized balance and endurance.
● Lagoori: Teams competed to knock down a pile of stones and restore it while avoiding
being hit by a ball.
● Maaram Pitti: Students demonstrated their dodging and throwing skills in this game,
which is similar to dodgeball.
● Cheel Jhapatta: This game, focusing on speed and reflexes, had students trying to
snatch an object from the ground.
● Rathera: A team game involving strategy and speed, where students pulled a mock
chariot to victory.
The activities were conducted successfully, with students demonstrating keen interest and
active participation. The day’s objective of promoting physical fitness and teamwork was
effectively fulfilled.
