Indian Constitution Day- Special Assembly- Std. V to XII – 26 November 2025
About This Activity
The morning assembly at Rajhans Vidyalaya was conducted to celebrate Indian Constitution Day. The programme emphasized the importance of the Indian Constitution, its values, and our responsibilities as citizens.
Speech by Vihaan – Standard VI- presented an informative and engaging speech on Constitution Day. He spoke about the adoption of the Indian Constitution on 26th November 1949 and its enforcement on 26th January 1950.
He highlighted the contributions of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, the Father of the Indian Constitution, and explained the core values of justice, equality, liberty, and fraternity.
Vihaan also encouraged students to build a ‘Class Constitution’ that promotes discipline and harmony. Suggested rules included:
- Listening when someone else is speaking
- Keeping the classroom clean
- Including everyone in activities
- Speaking politely and resolving disagreements with respect
- Completing assignments on time and helping peers
- Celebrating each other’s achievements
His speech inspired students to appreciate their rights while fulfilling their duties.
Poem Presentation by Thushtivel – Standard VII- recited a patriotic and expressive poem dedicated to the Indian Constitution. The poem highlighted unity, national pride, and respect for the values that guide our nation.
Self-Affirmation by Students- ‘ I will respect the Constitution of India and respect all my fellow citizens.’

The assembly helped students to understand the significance of Constitution Day, learn about basic rights and duties, realize the value of respect, equality, and discipline and also how to practise democratic values in school life.
