VAN MAHOTSAV CELEBRATION – 10 JULY 2026







On 10th July, the Primary Section of Rajhans Vidyalaya celebrated Van Mahotsav with great enthusiasm to promote environmental awareness and encourage students to develop a love for nature. The celebration aimed to inspire children to understand the importance of trees and their role in maintaining a healthy environment.
The celebration began during the morning assembly, where Ms. Poonam Gupta addressed the students about the significance of forests, biodiversity, and the need to conserve our natural resources. The students then presented a skit titled 'Save Trees – Pedh Bachao'. Through their impressive performances, they highlighted the importance of trees in sustaining life and maintaining ecological balance. The skit conveyed a powerful message, encouraging everyone to take responsibility for conserving nature and adopting eco-friendly practices.
The Principal marked the occasion by planting a sapling, symbolising the school's commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable living. The plantation ceremony was witnessed with great enthusiasm by all. The sapling plantation reinforced the importance of collective efforts in creating a greener and healthier future. The event motivated students to actively participate in environmental initiatives and to care for nature with dedication and responsibility.
The Principal then addressed the students and staff, highlighting the importance of protecting the environment and preserving nature for future generations. The speech emphasised that trees are essential for clean air, biodiversity, climate balance, and the overall well-being of all living beings.
The Van Mahotsav celebration concluded with a pledge by all students and staff to plant more trees, protect the environment, and contribute towards building a greener and healthier future. The celebration served as a meaningful learning experience, reinforcing the values of environmental responsibility, teamwork, and sustainable living among the students.
