A FUNFILLED AND ENRICHING DAY WITH THE SUNSHINE KID'S
It is rightly said--
'We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give' -- Winston Churchill.
February 3 is etched in the history of H.MPS campus as a day to fondly remember the philanthropic efforts of one of our donors -- Smt Baikabibai. The day began with the dignitaries of the campus giving ‘Pushp archana’ at the feet of our donors. To commemorate the death anniversary -'A DAY WITH THE LESSER PRIVELEGED CHILDREN' was organized by the four schools in the Andheri situated HMPS CAMPUS- Rajhans Vidyalaya(CBSE), Hansraj Morarji Public School (SSC) , Bal Vatika and the ICSE school -- A unique opportunity to spread warmth and love to the lesser privileged in our society.
The school had arranged buses for the pick up and drop of these children from Mobile Creches whose parents work in the construction sites across Mumbai. A fun-filled entertaining day was planned for them. On arrival at the campus the children freshened themselves and indulged in refreshments.
ENGAGING AND ENTERTAINING ACTIVITES--- The children were then involved in enriching and entertaining activities like wall climbing, various games on the basket ball court, a diya painting session followed by dancing session . The enthusiasm and the exuberance radiating on the faces of these children was worth capturing.
LUNCH TIME-- The fun-filled day was followed by lunch comprising of misal pav, gulab jamun, orange, cake, biscuit and a lollipop.
MOVIE TIME-- The children were then taken to the theatre hall to watch Chandrayan 3 and a humorous compilation of various cartoon and movie clips from Charlie Chaplin, Mowgli, Incredible 2 and Minions which was thoroughly enjoyed by the children.
