“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” — Mahatma Gandhi
The Underprivileged Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at HMPS to honour the Founder’s Death Anniversary. This meaningful event sought to bring joy to underprivileged children while fostering values of kindness, empathy, and community service among students. Schools from Dahisar, Goregaon and Juhu joined the initiative, making it an unforgettable experience for all involved. The whole initiative to bring the campus together to celebrate the sunshine event was led by the Academic adviser, Mrs. Deepshika Srivastava.

The aim was to nurture a spirit of generosity and inclusivity by engaging underprivileged children in fun-filled activities that promote joy, teamwork, and social responsibility. The objective was also to create an enjoyable and interactive experience for underprivileged children through engaging activities, to inspire our students to actively participate in a noble cause and to instil core values of empathy, kindness, and community service.

The day featured a variety of activities such as One Minute Games, rock climbing, basketball, dance, and art, encouraging creativity, teamwork, and active participation. The sunshine participants enjoyed the all the activities thoroughly. Students & teachers from Rajhans Vidyalaya, HMPS ICSE, and Balvatika came together, fostering camaraderie and mutual support. The atmosphere was vibrant, filled with cheers, laughter, and a spirit of sportsmanship. After an eventful morning, the children enjoyed a delicious lunch consisting of Pavbhaji, noodles and ice cream.

Goody bags and basket hampers, thoughtfully donated by BKHMCT students, were distributed by our school heads namely Mrs Ritu Dubey Principal Rajhans Vidyalaya, Mrs Nisha Menon, Principal HMPS ICSE, Mrs.Babita Chauhan, Principal Balvatika Mr. S. Govindharajan, Principal HMPS, Mrs Poonam Sharma, Principal Skill development.

The event was a resounding success, brimming with laughter, learning, and meaningful connections.
