SPORTS DAY REPORT – 40 TH ANNUAL SPORTS MEET (2025 – 26)
The 40th Annual Sports Meet of Bai Kabibai and Hansraj Morarji Charity Trust Schools, Andheri Campus, was celebrated on November 29th, 2025 with tremendous enthusiasm and grandeur. The occasion was graced by our esteemed Chief Guest, Director Sir, Major General Deepak Saxena, accompanied by our respected Principal, Mrs. Ritu Dubey, Major Abhishek Singh HR Manager Bursar, Smt. Babita Chavan, Principal Bai Kabibai Balvatika, Smt. Nisha Menon; Principal Hansraj Morarji Public School -ICSE, Shri S. Govindharajan; Principal Hansraj Morarji Public School & Jr. College, Smt. Poonam Sharma; Co-Ordinator Skill Development and our Security Officer, Subhedar Major Madhukar Khot. The programme began with Principal Mrs. Ritu Dubey warmly welcoming and felicitating the Chief Guest. Following this, the Chief Guest, escorted by our student representatives, was invited to the saluting stand for the National Anthem, during which the entire gathering stood in respectful silence to honour the nation.
The true spirit of the Sports Meet was ignited with the Torch Bearers’ Run, symbolising discipline, unity, and excellence. The excitement grew as the March Past began—first Gyaneshwar House, followed by Kabir House, Kalidas House, and Tulidas House, each marching with precision and pride. They were followed by the Scouts and Guides, who displayed dignity and discipline, and the School Band, which filled the field with rhythm, pride, and grandeur. An atmosphere of anticipation and reverence then enveloped the arena as the Oath-Taking Ceremony commenced, reaffirming the values of true sportsmanship.
This year’s Sports Meet carried a special environmental message, highlighted by the introduction of the SOHA Exhibition—Seeds of Hope and Action—an initiative aimed at nurturing environmental awareness and empowering young learners to contribute to a greener future. In a moment of honour and significance, the Chief Guest, Major General Deepak Saxena, was invited once again to the saluting stand to officially declare the 40th Sports Meet 2025–26 open. This was followed by an impressive Band Display and a coordinated Scouts and Guides performance. The school then proudly felicitated its National-level players, celebrating their dedication and achievements.
The cultural segment added vibrancy to the event, beginning with a breath-taking Mallakhamb Formation that showcased grace, grit, and physical endurance. This was followed by the Spirit of Fitness Drill Display, where students demonstrated strength, coordination, and boundless enthusiasm. The Rhythm in Motion segment featured an energetic Pom-Poms and Dumbbells drill, dazzling the audience with colour and synchrony. The Beats of Unity Lezim performance further enlivened the atmosphere, blending cultural heritage with skillful rhythmic movements that emphasized teamwork and unity.
The programme then transitioned into the Field of Glory segment, a grand showcase of the various sports offered at the school, celebrating athleticism and competitive spirit. The excitement peaked during the 100 metres Final Race, where athletes sprinted with determination and focus, followed by the Relay Race, which highlighted teamwork, timing, and seamless baton exchanges. The much-awaited Prize Distribution Ceremony honoured the achievements of students who excelled throughout the meet, recognising their perseverance, dedication, and sportsmanship.
The event drew to a close with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, staff, volunteers, and students for their contributions. Afterwards, students were dispersed in an orderly and disciplined manner by teachers and volunteers, who guided them to the Mess Hall for refreshments. The 40th Annual Sports Meet thus concluded as a memorable celebration of unity, athletic excellence, discipline, and environmental consciousness, leaving everyone with a lasting sense of pride and accomplishment.
