The 35th Annual Art Fest was organized with great enthusiasm and grandeur at the Rajhans Vidyalaya campus. This much-awaited event is not merely an exhibition but a vibrant celebration of imagination, creativity, and artistic expression. Over the years, the Art Fest has evolved remarkably, yet it continues to uphold the spirit of creativity, a passion for art and craft, and enthusiastic student participation.

This year’s theme, “Culture Unplugged,” offered a nostalgic journey into the era of the 1980s to the mid-2000s—a time remembered for its simplicity, expressive art, and strong cultural roots. The theme was beautifully reflected in every display and activity, allowing students to creatively connect with the past while presenting their ideas in innovative ways.

The event was graced in the morning session by esteemed dignitaries Shri Anand J. Vashi (Trustee), Shri Jagdish U. Thakersey (Trustee), Shri Rajen Dwarkadas Udeshi (Trustee), and Major General Deepak Saxena (Director). The programme commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by the trustees, symbolizing the spread of knowledge and positivity.

The Principal, Mrs. Ritu Dubey, presented a comprehensive preview of the various activities conducted across classes from Std. I to XII, highlighting the creativity and efforts of the students. Following this, student volunteers escorted the dignitaries to the exhibits spanning from the Primary to the Senior Secondary sections. The activities and displays were confidently explained by the students themselves, reflecting their understanding, involvement, and enthusiasm.

The evening session was equally vibrant and engaging, marked by captivating cultural performances. A graceful Sufi dance performance was presented by the students, mesmerizing the audience with its elegance and spiritual expression. An energetic flash mob performance was presented by the students in the basketball area, surprising everyone. All the performances beautifully highlighted the artistic talents and expressive abilities of the students.

The evening session was graced by distinguished guests, including Ms. Haryanty Abu Bakar, Director of Tourism Malaysia; Ms. Ishwari Joshi, a Mumbai-based creative professional and fashion designer, Ms. Navya Bhatt, an ex-student; and Mr. Mukul Gehany, a renowned professional known for his creativity and innovation. Their presence added great value and inspiration to the event.

A unique and creative highlight of this year’s fest was the distribution of specially designed boarding passes to dignitaries and visitors, adding a distinctive and memorable touch to the overall experience. The entire campus, after weeks of dedicated preparation, was transformed into a living gallery, where every corner reflected imagination, effort, and artistic brilliance. The displays were not just final exhibits but a journey of creativity brought to life.

The Art Fest featured a wide range of displays and activities. The Photography Display captured moments through a unique lens, reflecting perspective and storytelling without words. The Canvas Painting Display and live painting by Mr. Arun Awasarmol showcased artistic depth, patience, and spontaneous expression. Traditional art forms such as Rangoli Making, Pooja Thali Decoration, and the Deep Mala and Tulsi installation beautifully highlighted cultural heritage and spiritual harmony. The Mat Weaving Demonstration using coconut leaves emphasized traditional craftsmanship and sustainable practices.

Innovative installations like the Snake Park Installation, made from recycled ties, and the Sculpture–Box Installation, created from discarded materials, showcased creativity along with environmental awareness. The Swing Installation symbolized joy and freedom, while the Umbrella Installation added vibrancy with colourful student artwork. The Cycle Stand Display creatively conveyed an important message: “Burn fat, not fuel.”

Skill-based activities such as Fruit Carving, Flower Arrangement, Makeup and Face Painting, and Fort Making reflected precision, creativity, and thoughtful design. Interactive elements like Snakes and Ladders and Hopscotch brought in fun while symbolizing life lessons and encouraging physical coordination. The Photo Booth allowed everyone to capture joyful memories, while the Coffee Painting Activity created a warm bonding experience between parents and students.

All the displays collectively transformed the campus into a vibrant artistic space, where every creation told a story and every student expressed themselves confidently. The event stood as a testament to the dedication, talent, and hard work of the students and teachers.

In conclusion, the 35th Annual Art Fest was a grand success, celebrating not only artistic talent but also collaboration, innovation, and cultural appreciation. It truly reflected the essence of creativity and provided a meaningful platform for every student to shine.
