PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION- JULY 5, 2025

On Saturday, July 5, 2025, a training session on Phone Photography was conducted for the teachers of the Primary and Senior Secondary Sections of Rajhans Vidyalaya. The session was held at Gurukul from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM and was conducted by Ms. Mital Bhanushali, who shared detailed insights into the world of smartphone photography, making the session both informative and engaging.
The training aimed to develop the teachers' skills in effectively using their phone cameras for academic, creative, and documentation purposes. Ms. Bhanushali explained a wide range of mobile photography features, starting with the use of grid lines for better composition and lighting adjustments for different environments. Teachers were introduced to various camera modes including portrait, panorama, and video, along with techniques for adjusting brightness, achieving sharp focus, and using lighting effects to enhance image quality.
A major highlight of the session was the in-depth explanation of zoom functionalities—from digital zoom to optical zoom, and how each affects image clarity. The trainer also introduced teachers to different lens types available in modern smartphones, such as wide, ultra-wide, micro, and macro lenses, explaining their specific uses for capturing expansive scenes or intricate details. These features were demonstrated with real-life examples, and participants were encouraged to explore them through hands-on activities.
The session was entirely interactive, with each feature explained through live demonstrations and practice-based activities, allowing participants to apply what they learned immediately. Ms. Bhanushali provided individual guidance, answered queries, and ensured that each teacher became comfortable with using their device’s camera to its full potential.
Overall, the session was a great success, equipping teachers with valuable photography skills that will enhance their ability to document events, create engaging teaching content, and contribute to the school’s visual communications more effectively.
