Vigilance Awareness Workshop

As part of the observance of Vigilance Awareness Week, a Vigilance Awareness Workshop was organized on 13 th October 2025, at Rajhans Vidyalaya, with the theme “Say No to Corruption; Commit to the Nation”, organised by Steel Authority of India Ltd. The aim of the event was to educate students about the importance of integrity, honesty, and ethical behaviour in day-to-day life. 

The session began with a welcome address by Mr.Chhewang Chhojor (DGM, Vigilance)Steel Authority of India Ltd. Shri.T.N.Natrajan, Regional Manager, Steel Authority of India Ltd. . addressed the gathering and spoke about how corruption can affect our society and what role youth can play in building a corruption-free India.
Shri Brajesh Kumar, General Manager (Vigilance), Steel Authority of India Ltd., A Civil Engineer from IIT Roorkee with over 30 years of rich and diverse experience across multiple portfolios and SAIL locations throughout India, for the session, delivered an insightful talk highlighting the role of preventive vigilance and the importance of ethical behaviour in building a corruption-free society. Through interactive discussions, real-life scenarios, and videos, students were made aware of:
· The impact of corruption on governance
· The value of transparency and truthfulness
· How small actions can lead to big changes
A quiz competition and Slogan -making activity were also held to reinforce the message of ethical conduct.
Shri Sunny Narang, General Manager (Vigilance), Steel Authority of India Ltd. ended the session with vote of thanks.
The workshop was highly informative and thought-provoking. It inspired students to be responsible citizens and stand firmly against corrupt practices in any form.
