A One-Day Glider Design and Flight Workshop was organized at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay on 18 October 2026. Conducted by The Aeronautical Society of India (Mumbai Chapter) in association with School Toppers, the event was attended by seven Class X students from Rajhans Vidyalaya, Andheri (West). Under the guidance of Professor Rajkumar S. Pant, the workshop provided participants with an exciting introduction to aeronautics and aerospace engineering.

The programme offered valuable hands-on experience in designing, constructing, and flying gliders, helping students connect fundamental scientific concepts with real-world engineering applications. Participants praised the expert mentorship, interactive activities, and seamless organization, finding the session both inspiring and deeply enriching.

Adding to the school’s pride, Hrishikesh Ghuge secured the Third Prize along with a scholarship, while all seven participants received certificates of participation. The workshop sparked scientific curiosity, fostered creativity, and inspired students to explore future careers in aviation and engineering, making it a memorable learning experience that took classroom science to new heights.
